I Love To See The Temple

My grandma came in town from Minnesota for a visit so we took her and my mom to the Temple. It was a beautiful day for it.














The Temple is the greatest place on earth. It is Heaven on earth. I love the Spirit that I feel there everytime we go, even if it is just walking the grounds. In this noisy, bustling, competitive world, what a privilege it is to have a sacred house where we may experience the sanctifying influence of the Spirit of the Lord. I am so greatful for Temples and the work done therein.

Wyatt and I love to play and he has such a little imagination!




We love when we get a nice lazy day to do nothing but hang out at home and play!

Mr. Potato Head

Wyatt has always had a love/hate relationship with his Mr. Potato Head. He loves it more than any other toy he has (besides his cars) but he tends to get really upset at it when it doesn't look just right. It always cracks me up seeing Wyatt play with Mr. Potato Head!

WE ARE EXPECTING!!!

Okay, so I can't hold it in anymore! We are expecting baby #2. We are sooooo thrilled! We just had an ultrasound last Saturday to see how things were going. It was so cute to see an itty bitty pea pod baby on the ultrasound and you could even see the heart beating. It's all so exciting! The baby is doing great and we are due March 2nd :-)

4th Of July Weekend

We had a really great 4th of July weekend. On Saturday, July 3rd we went to downtown Mesa for the 4th of July Independance festival. It was a lot of fun. I have never been to it before, but it is a great place to take your kids. We enjoyed looking at some classic cars. Well, I think Andrew and Wyatt enjoyed that more than me :-)




Then, we took Wyatt to see the fire trucks, which he loved!!







Wyatt enjoyed the live music that he danced to and all the fun stuff to see. It was a really great family fun place!

Then, on Sunday July 4th after church we headed down to Central Christian Church for fireworks. In my opinion, this is the best place to see fireworks just because it is so family friendly and safe.






Wyatt enjoyed his first cotton candy!





Happy 4th of July!

"Mothering With Spiritual Power"

I read this book and am already tempted to re-read it again. This is by far the most amazing book for mothers. It talks about the sacred nature of motherhood and the spiritual power we have through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

It talks about how to use scriptures to apply to mothering and how we can be uplifted and teach our children in these latter days. She uses about 25 different scriptures throughout the book.

This book has truly been uplifting to me and I plan to apply many of the things in this book in my everyday life. This book helps you to teach your children in a more Christ-like way. I really do love this book and recommend any mom read it.
