I had to blog about this so one day I can look back and remember all the craziness we went through. The past 6 months or so have been honestly a bit crazy for our family. When I was pregnant I ended up in the hospital for 4 days due to a bad kidney infection. Wyatt ended up at Cardons Children's ER awhile back because he was unable to walk and having severe pain due to a viral arthritis that he got. Andrew ended up getting valley fever and pneumonia and was on medication for months. And just last week baby Porter was in the Cardons Children's hospital for 6 days with RSV.
It really has been a lot on all of us but I am happy to report that Wyatt is in great health, Andrew is doing great, Porter is home, happy, and healthy, and I couldn't be better! So, even though we have been through a lot I am very thankful for our family who has helped us get through all of it and thankful for our close friends that so kindly helped us feel better. I am also grateful to have the priesthood in our home. It was so nice knowing that when times got really hard Andrew could be there to give a blessing. It feels good to just be home and have everyone healthy and happy again. I am so grateful for our two boys and it makes me beyond happy to see them healthy. I have been behind on blogging (for obvious reasons) but I will be posting some recent pictures tomorrow!

Porter Is Here!
February 21, 2011 I woke up and around 9am starting feeling contractions and cramping off and on. Towards the afternoon they got stronger and wouldn't go away. I ended up calling Andrew around 3:00 and telling him I think we need to go to the hospital. Luckily I was super prepared and already had my hospital bag packed and in the trunk! We dropped Wyatt off at a friends house and took off for the hospital. They hooked me up to the monitors and told me they were going to keep me because I was in labor! I was so thrilled! They got me into a room around 6:30 and got me my epidural not long after that. Everything was going pretty quick and the next thing I know they tell me I am ready to have the baby and he arrived at 10:43pm weighing 5 lbs 11ozs 18 1/4 inches long. Nothing can describe that feeling of seeing your baby for the first time. It is such an amazing feeling. You become so attached to the little bundle of joy when they are inside of you and then when they come out and you are holding them for the first time it is truly amazing! I love being a mommy so much I can't put it into words. I love my boys!
I am grateful that this delivery went so smoothly, much smoother than when I had Wyatt! Porter is such a sweet baby and is so content. He doesn't fuss much at all and sleeps well. Wyatt wasn't sure at first of what to think. He was kind of ignoring his baby brother at first but now he is so protective and sweet to him. Porter doesn't like to be swaddled at all! He loves to sleep with his elbows in the air and he loves having his hands on his face. He loves being held and sang to! For now, here are some pictures... I will be posting another blog soon of Porter's first bath :)

Time Goes By So Fast...
Sometimes I feel like this was yesterday... Welcoming Wyatt into our lives!
It is crazy to me how quickly time goes by. I remember this day like it was yesterday and now Wyatt is getting close to being 3 and in about a week I will be going through this all over again... welcoming Porter into our life.
I look back at all Wyatt's old pictures and think where did the time go? I can't believe how much he has grown. He is such a cutie with such an amazing personality. I can't wait to meet Porter and see what he looks like and what his personality will be like.
I love being a mommy so much. There is nothing greater and more rewarding. I feel truly blessed to have such an amazing life and amazing family. Pretty soon we will be a family of 4 and I can not wait!!

Tutus & Such
Lately I have been really into crafting and making stuff! I started making tutu's which turned out to be a big hit and I have already sold a lot of them. I love making them and I think every little baby girl looks so cute in them!
Then, I made this little bow tie onsie for Porter. I thought he would look cute wearing this to church!
I have made some more, just haven't taken pictures yet! I will post more fun projects later on.

38+ Weeks....
I haven't done a pregnancy update in awhile! I am now into my 38th week and looking forward to being done! This has been an overall good pregnancy but I think most women get pretty tired towards the end and just start looking forward to holding their child. I went to the OB Wednesday and baby has dropped even lower (which explains all the horrible pressure I have been feeling) and I am now dilated 2-3 cm and am 50% effaced. I see my OB next Wednesday and as long as things are progressing they are going to schedule me to be induced! I can't believe Porter will be home with us so soon. I am so excited!
I have been so excited about Porter's arrival that I can't stop doing things. I clean and organize the house about twice a day. I'm not even sure what I'm cleaning and organizing anymore. Everything is set up in the nursery, the playpen and swing are set up in our room, I dropped all my paperwork off to labor and delivery. I have been having horrible cramps and off and on contractions lately, which actually makes me excited because I know it's getting close.
This week I will be eating lots of spicy food and pineapple, walking a ton, bouncing on my yoga ball, and just staying active. It seemed to help when I had Wyatt so I am going to try it all again. Well, I will post another blog next Wednesday once I know more about an induction date! The countdown is on and I can't wait!!!

Well, four years ago on Valentine's Day Andrew took me to Canyon Lake and asked me to marry him. I will always remember that day. Today Andrew suprised me with two pretty amazing things...
