For My Husband.....

Andrew,

I just wanted you to know how very proud of you I am. You have been working so hard through all your testing and studying and it has finally paid off. You always work so hard for your family and I appreciate that.

Thank you for being the best husband and father ever. You are truly an amazing person and a real example to me. I just wanted you to know I am proud of you.

I love you very much.

Wyatts 2nd Birthday

I can't believe it, our little guy isn't so little anymore. He turned 2 on May 1st, Saturday and we had a fireman themed party at our house. He had so much fun with all his little friends! I took a few pictures of the decorations before all the kiddos came over.

Then it was time for some outdoor fun. Wyatt truly had the best time running around with all his little buddies!

And of course playing the drums with Miss Elsie...

Then it was time for the birthday lunch!

Then it was time for PRESENTS!!

Then, the wonderful fire man cake!! It turned out so cute and tastes even better!!

Then, of course we sang happy birthday but I guess our voices aren't too great because we all made Wyatt cry.

But as you can see, the crying quickly stopped.

The party went so well and Wyatt had so much fun! I'm super happy it was such a big success! Wyatt has such sweet friends that helped make his party even better! After everyone left Wyatt got to play with some of his new toys his friends got him.

Then I brought out a surprise present from the laundry room... Mr. Potato Head (which I will have you know is Wyatts favorite thing EVER). Andrew and I got this giant potato head at Disneyland and filled it with as many potato parts as possible.

Wyatt was in Heaven with all his new potato head parts. He created some wonderful masterpieces.

It's crazy to think he is already 2!! I remember his first birthday like it was yesterday. Wyatt is the perfect son and we love him very much. Happy Birthday Wyatt. We love you.

Chicken Dance

I just had to blog this. Wyatt just learned how to do the chicken dance. You know:

"I don't wanna be a chicken. I don't wanna be a duck. So I wiggle my butt"

It is the cutest thing ever!!!!! And he trys to sing along with the words, which of course he doesn't know which makes it even cuter.

Our little man is growing up!

The Remarkable Soul Of A Woman

I read this book recently, well I actually read it twice since I got it. I really enjoyed it. It's a really short book, but it has a lot of powerful messages in it. I typically like to read longer books that take me awhile to finish but it's just a good, short, feel good book with great messages and quotes!

A Little Backyard Fun With The Hose

Yesterday after we got home from the zoo it was getting really hot and since our pool still isn't quite warm enough to go swimming we let Wyatt have fun with the hose...which he did!!

He had so much fun, I think he could've done that all day!

Overall, we had such a fun day as a family!

Animal Encounters

Yesterday, on Saturday, Andrew, Wyatt, and I met my mom at the zoo for a fun filled day. It was perfect warm weather and Wyatt had a lot of fun. First stop, like always was the giraffes. They opened up a new area where you can feed the giraffes but it's only open during certain times and we missed it. I was pretty bummed because that is like my favorite part, but either way I still had tons of fun.

Then, we went to see the rhinos, which I love as well.

Then, it was time for the monkeys. Wyatt tried to bring his apple into the monkey village but they stopped us and said that they would come at us and steal it so we thought it would be best (and safer) to leave the apple behind!!

We were starting to get tired and were about to leave the zoo. Andrew waited on a bench by the elephants while my mom and I went to go find a restroom. Now before I begin this story I would like to inform everyone that I am a huge lover of animals BUT not a huge lover of bird type creatures (such as geese, peacocks, or any large bird type animal). Anyways, I was coming out of the restroom when two peacocks were walking right towards me. I tried to remain calm because I know people always say they sense fear, but I couldn't remain calm when the male peacock decided to come at me!! I was so scared he was going to peck my eyes out or something so I ran through a bamboo area that I think may be off limits at the zoo, but did I care? NO. All I cared about was getting away from this peacock that was out to get me!

It was a fun, adventurous day at the zoo!!
